Recount of week 10 of home schooling

Hi Reception

Hope you are all safe and well and not too sunburnt.  This week Milly, Austin, grandad and myself should have been going on holiday to Greece for the first time.  As we couldn’t go I decided to bring the holidays to our house.

On Sunday evening grandad and myself put up decorations including paper pineapples, pompoms, a flamingo garland and lanterns.  We blew up musical instruments and microphones and also made a photo booth with holiday props including sunglasses, cocktails and hats. 

On Monday the children woke to all of this and were very excited.  We had a palm tree drinks cooler and lots of little umbrellas for our drinks.  We put sunbeds out, played crazy golf, had the paddling pool out, played cards and created a band and danced.

We had a BBQ and of course we were lucky enough to have Greek weather.
