For English we are looking at how commas can affect the meanings of sentences. Try the worksheets at the bottom of the page and see how a comma can change everything. 

There is also a comprehension attached all about Oliver Twist. We looked at Charles Dickens a few weeks ago and discussed Oliver Twist. I am sure by the end of the comprehension you will be asking me, “Sir, can I have some more?”

This week we are starting our new Humanities topic; Maya Civilisation. We are going to be looking at who the Mayans are and what time period they originated from. You will find all of the information in the PowerPoint attached.

Once you have read through the information provided I would like you to create a small poster/fact sheet detailing some facts about The Mayans.
