It is crucial whilst learning from home to keep reading every day.

Oxford Owl is a fantastic website where you will find lots of the reading schemes that we use in school. You will need to create an account but it is completely FREE! Once you have done so, you will be able to access hundreds of books online. To find out which reading level woud best suit your child, have a look at the back of their home reading book.

In addition, please make use of these FREE decodable phonics comics. They are short, simple, silly comics that can be viewed on screen or printed out. They aim to provide opportunities for children to rehearse the precise knowledge and skills that they have learnt in school. Mostly though, they were created to make children smile.
