Home Learning 29.6.20

Hi Class 9,

I hope you are all well. Below are your tasks for this week.

Any questions or problems, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Maths and English

Please complete some more worksheets from your work booklets that were available to collect from school last week. Finish off any pages in Book 2 and then start Book 3 when you are ready. There is a lot of work in these, so only do what you feel you are able to.

If you haven’t already done so, please come and collect the work booklet for your child from the BACK DOOR at school (access via the car park). In the conservatory, you will see a box of packs for each class. Please observe social distancing, wait at the mark until the conservatory is empty, use the hand sanitiser available on the chair outside and then collect your child's pack from the correct class box.

I've also attached this week's copy of First News, as well as some activities to go with it. It really is an excellent way to find out what is going on in the World.

Topic

As you may be aware, the Wimbledon tennis tournament is usually held around this time of year. Unfortunately, this year, it has been cancelled. Your task is to use the attached templates to create a trophy for the winner of the Men's or Women's singles title. Or, you might want to completely redesign the trophy! I've also attached a Powerpoint about Wimbledon, for inspiration. If you email me your creations, I will be able to share them on our Class Page. Good luck!

Any problems regarding anything including work booklets let me know on [email protected]

Stay Safe,

Mr Mawson
