Remembrance Day 2020
Class 9 have spent some time this week looking at Remembrance Day in detail. We have looked at when, how and why it is commemorated.
We have also listened to some of the most famous war poems and thought about the emotive writing present in them. These poems inspired us to have a go at writing some emotive poems ourselves. I think you will agree that they are absolutely fantastic and very emotional.
Once we had finished our poetry and in preparation for our school Remembrance Day service, at 11am on November 11th, we visited our beautiful school cenotaph to pay our respects.
