Spelling

Here is a list of all Year 1 & Year 2 Common Exception Words. These are what we call our 'tricky words'. You can't really sound them out and they don't follow the rules angry. You just have to learn them. Why not have a go at home. How many will you learn before we come back to school? Who will learn to spell them all?

Try and do a spelling test each Friday just like we would in school. Ask an adult to choose 10 spellings. Practise them all week and see if you know them all by Friday. Will you get 10 out of 10?
