World Mental Health Day

As part of our discussions as part of World Mental Health Day, we came up with ideas of what makes us happy.

We then created 'First Aid Kits' for when we are feeling sad or upset. Just like First Aid Kits can help with a physical injury, our First Aid Kits contain ideas to cheer us up and make us feel better. Ideas included were: 

drawing                        listening to calm music          reading              

writing poems for friends      times tables colouring       eating healthy food

going for a walk          talking to friends and family

listening to birds and waterfalls       watching funny films            meditating   

We then listened to relaxing music whilst creating collages, colouring and generally being creative!
