Catching up with Miss Walker 27/04/20

Date: 27th Apr 2020 @ 11:40am

                                  Hello Class 8,

I can’t believe that it is the start of our sixth week working from home. I hope we are all well and enjoying this glorious sunshine as I know that I definitely am but you must remember to keep putting your sun cream on and drink plenty of water!

It has been lovely to hear from some of you this week, I have really loved seeing/ hearing what you have been up to so please continue to do that!

I know that some of you have been keeping active doing Joe Wick’s workouts and some even going on bike rides like me. Did you have a go at the P.E challenge that Mr Maswon set? I had a go at Week 2’s challenge yesterday and I’m definitely feeling the pain and will be waiting until I can feel my legs again until I try out Week 3’s challenge! If anybody has any videos of their attempts then I’d love to see them!

What else have you all been up to this week? I have a few ideas that maybe you could try this week…

  • Creating a circuit for you and maybe your family- you could even time yourself!
  • Choreograph or follow a dance routine (It is National Dance Day on Wednesday).
  • Building a den in the garden- having a think of what materials you could use and why.
  • Practice your times tables on TT Rockstars!
  • Help with any housework/ gardening that your family might need help with.
  • Read something new- I need a new book to read so any recommendations are welcome!
  • Watch our staff film if you haven't already and you could even make your own.
  • Try something new- make a simple meal for lunch, maybe a sandwich or salad.

I have been using this time to focus on my fitness and cooking and feel as though I am improving each week so it is important that you are setting yourself little goals that you can aim to complete in the week- this really helps me!

That is enough from me today, make sure you are getting out in this lovely weather, looking after your family and making the most of this time to learn new things as well as having fun with your loved ones.

Please keep in touch via email;

, I look forward to hearing from more of you this week.

Love, Miss Walker cheeky
