Hello, and a big welcome to Cedar.

Your child's class teacher is Miss Quinn. Our wonderful KS1 support staff are Mrs Bailey, Mrs Vella, Miss Scott, Miss Burgen and Miss Hisslop. We’re so excited to share a fun year of learning with you and your child.

Our Day

• Morning drop-off: Doors open 8:40 – 8:50 am

• Home time: 3:15 pm

Lunchtime

All Key Stage One children can enjoy a free hot school meal every day.
You can see the two-choice menu on the school website under Information.

• PE days: Tuesday and Wednesday  

• Children our to come dressed in their PE kit or school tracksuit

Homework & Reading

• Homework goes home on Fridays and is returned Tuesday.

• Each child will take home a reading book and a diary once a week.

  • Please enjoy reading together regularly.

  • Jot a quick note in the diary to share how they got on.

  • Return both book and diary on your child’s assigned day.

Helpful Reminders

• Please label all clothing and belongings so nothing goes missing.

• Send a labelled water bottle of plain water every day.

• Kindly leave toys and other personal items at home so we can keep our classroom tidy and focused.
