Recount of week 3 of home schooling

Date: 10th Apr 2020 @ 9:16pm

Hi Reception

It is the end of our third week of staying home safe and I miss you all.  It is Easter week and I have received competition pictures of all your hard work.  It is going to be hard to choose a winner, they are all fantastic.  My family and I have done some Easter activities and enjoyed being outside in the garden sunshine.

First we made some book marks for Easter presents for our family.  We coloured African patterns in and used brightly coloured crayons.

Next I made some Gloop for them to play in.  Gloop is cornflour and water mixed together and is a great sensory activity.

Then Milly and Austin decorated Easter eggs and cut them out themselves.  (Template on class Easter page) I have stuck them up on the wall.  Can you guess which one belongs to Austin?

After that we made rabbits using toilet roll although kitchen roll would work too.  We squashed them to the shape we wanted and glued them together then printed the rabbits.  Maybe you could try this at home?

Finally we made Easter baskets and have put them by our Easter tree ready for the Easter bunny to come on Sunday. (Template on class Easter page)

Have a lovely Easter and sending a prayer for all of you.  If you haven’t already entered our Easter competition, you have a couple of days left.   I would love to hear your news and see some of your pictures.  Perhaps you can do the same things as us.  Please email any pictures or if you want to tell me anything or ask any questions my email is [email protected]
