Recount of week 6 of home schooling

Date: 1st May 2020 @ 6:19pm

Hi Reception,

Hope you are all well and staying safe.  I have had some videos sent in for the competition, but there is still time to email your video over.  I have also had some fabulous pictures sent to me and have put some on the home schooling display wall.  The weather has been a little different this week and have spent some time indoors but we have still tried to get in the garden as much as possible.

First, we have started doing a jigsaw with horses on.  It has 1000 pieces.  I think it is going to take a long time to complete but we will not give up.

Next, we played princesses and dressing up.  Can you spot Austin amongst the dresses?

Then we completed an indoor scavenger hunt.  We got into two teams, called James Team and Queen Team.  We had to collect the items and put them on the table.  The winners were the team that collected everything the quickest.  (I have put the list on home schooling webpage)  Who do you think won?  It was Milly and grandad.  ( I know Jamie has done this and I have put his picture on the home school display wall.)

After that Milly drew a very tall giraffe.  It was taller than me.  We then lay down next to it and marked out our heights next to the giraffe.

Finally we re-potted plants into larger pots so that they can grow big and strong.  Once the plants were in their new pots we had to water them.

I would love to hear your news and see some of your pictures.  Perhaps you can do the same things as us.  Please email any pictures or if you want to tell me anything or ask any questions my email is [email protected]

Remember, to stay safe, stay home, wash your hands, and be good.
