Printed work packs available to collect

Date: 15th Jun 2020 @ 11:20am

There are now available for you to collect from school a  physical work pack for the weeks beginning 15th, 22nd and 29th June.  We have provided these packs as we realise that some parents to do not have regular access to the internet or a printer; plus the cost implication of continually printing off materials. The packs can be collected from the BACK DOOR at school (access via the car park).  In the conservatory you will see a box of packs for each class.  Please observe social distancing, wait at the mark until the conservatory is empty, use the hand sanitiser available on the chair outside and then collect your child's pack from the correct class box.

The team of staff who have compiled these packs have tried as close as possible to meet your child’s individual needs in Maths and English.  The answer books for the packs can be found on your child’s class page on the website www.kirkbycofe.co.uk .  Please note that Week 1 pack = Week 5 answers.  Week 2 = Week 6’s answers and Week 3 = Week 7 answers.

You are all doing a magnificent job in really difficult times and please don’t feel that you have to complete all the packs as we know you are providing lots of fun activities which are developing your children’s life skills too… gardening, baking, DIY etc.

Possible Re-opening plans

Parent Survey Re Possible Re-opening

Date: 19th May 2020 @ 3:38pm

As you are aware the Government have asked all schools to begin planning to possibly re-open for certain year groups at some point in June.  Initially the proposed plans are for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children.  There are huge implications for school with these plans and the Governors and staff are now exploring the safest way this can be managed.  To help us with this planning process Knowsley Council have created a survey which would give us an indication as to whether you would be sending your child back if provision was available.  To complete the survey please click on the link below:

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LVHLTGT

We all want to have the children back in school as soon as is possible, but the safety of the children and the staff has to be at the fore-front of all decisions made. We will continue to keep you updated with our plans.
