We also encourage all children to access TimesTable Rockstars and continue to utilise this fantastic game that improves your knowledge of times tables and related division facts.
Your English task this week is to interpret a picture. We have completed lots of this sort of activity in class before and it is very useful as everybody’s interpretations are different. There are three different activities to complete for this week based on this illustration. Please see below the sheet attached for further instruction and the picture.
On Friday, Mr Mawson (Kirkby CE’s Joe Wicks) with special guests Miss Walker and Mr Tennant will be leading a short PE Zoom session that all Year 5 and 6 will be invited to. It would be great to see as many of you as possible. The details for the zoom meeting have been emailed out to you.
To start off the year, we would like you to have a think about your hopes and wishes for 2021. It could be something you wish to achieve in school or it could be related to experiences outside of school. You can use the template provided below or you are free to create your own.
History - World War II
Our new History topic is World War II and our first lesson is to look at the main events that took place during the War. Please use the PowerPoint provided to help you order the events in chronological order (earliest to latest). Please write out the timeline into the books provided to you or onto a piece of paper.
We understand that this is a completely different way of learning for you and I am more than happy to assist you if you are struggling with anything.
