We hope that you are all well. This is where you will find the home learning tasks that we will set you each week.
Please feel free to do whatever you can manage.
Maths
Your first task is to complete the shape task that Mrs Dwyer has set for you on the blog page. Have you managed to see it? This is what we would like you to try and do:-
In maths, we were learning about 2D shapes. I would like you to write down the shape names:
Square
Circle
Rectangle
Triangle
Describe each shape (how many sides? Straight or curved? How many corners?)
Then search around your house, inside and outside, for things that are those shapes. Draw them and have a go at writing the words.
You could do a page for each shape.
English
Have a look at the attached documents listing 100 High Frequency Words and the Common Exception Words. How many of these words can you read? How many can you spell?
We would like you to practise reading and writing these. Choose between 5 and 10 words to learn each week and if possible, ask someone in your house to test you on them.
