Reading
I have updated the reading tab on our class page. Have a look, there are thousands of books to choose from including lots of the reading schemes that we have in school. You may spot a book that your have read before or even one that you have been waiting to read. It is important to keep reading every day!
Writing
This week, I would like you to write a book review. Choose a book, it can be your favourite book, a book you have read before or a book that you have always wanted to read. Read it and write a book review. Let me know what you thought about it. Did you enjoy it? Did it make you laugh? Who was your favourite character? I have attached some templates to help you. It doesn't matter whether you enjoyed the book or not, you can share your thoughts on what you have read. Once you have completed it, email it over to me. I will share each one, this will allow us to read eachothers. If your friend has enjoyed a book, you may decide that you would like to read it too. Give it a go!
Phonics & Spellings
Don't forget to use the Phonics & Spelling tabs on our class page to keep practising all sounds, tricky words and high frequency words.
Maths
I would like you to access your maths tasks via White Rose Maths. The links below will take you to separate tasks for both Year 1 and Year 2. Please go to Summer Term – Week 6 (W/C 1st May). Please note, the worksheets are no longer available online. I have sent out the activities in an email to those who have provided email addresses.
