Mrs Dwyer says Hi 24/5/20

Hello Class One

This weekend is the start of our week off school but it’s just the same as every other day and weekend at home in lockdown.

I was supposed to be going on a camping holiday in Wales with my family but it had to be cancelled. I do keep thinking that maybe I should put up my tent in the garden, but I much prefer the warmth and comfort of my house.

Yesterday I had to take one of my cats to the vet. He had a sore paw and was limping and hopping about since Tuesday. The vet said he had been bitten by another cat (probably his brother) and the cut got infected. He cut out the infection and injected him with some medicine to make him feel better.  Today he is walking much better although he is sulking with me because he didn’t like me putting him in a cage and taking him out in the car.

My trip to the vet with my cat Leo reminded me of the Mog story ‘Mog and the V.E.T.’ Here is a link to the story. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Here are photos of my two cats Pumpkin and Leo, and Leo feeling sorry for himself with a sore back paw.

Happy Birthday this week to Bobby on Monday and George (class 2) today!

Take care everyone. Keep busy and have fun.
