Recount of week 11 of home schooling

Date: 5th Jun 2020 @ 8:40pm

Hi Reception,

Hope you are all safe and well.  Have you tried to guess the teachers behind the books on our website?  Can you spot me?

There has been a change in weather this week, but still tried to get outside as much as possible.

First we made a dream catcher using wood and string.

Then using Plaster of Paris, we made fairies and carefully painted them.  It took us two attempts as it dries very quickly and we didn’t fill the moulds quick enough.

Next we made a plant pot man, similar to Bill and Ben the flower pot men.  Can you think of a good name for our plant pot man?

After that Milly and Austin wanted to watch the Grinch.  Austin found a comfortable chair.

Then we completed a gratitude scavenger hunt.  We completed it inside and then outside and had to find very different things.  I will put this on the home learning page for you to try at home.

Next we continued to work on my horse jigsaw and still finding it very difficult.  However, we are not going to give up.

Finally back outside, they made mud pies and mud drinks.

I would love to hear your news and see some of your pictures.  Perhaps you can do the same things as us.  Please email any pictures or if you want to tell me anything or ask any questions my email is [email protected]

Remember, to stay safe, stay home, wash your hands, and be good.
