The Day the Chairs in Class One Quit!

Oh no!! The children arrived to a bit of a shock in class today!

All of the chairs quit for the day...they must have got some inspiration from a recent book we enjoyed together 'The Day the Crayons Quit'. How did we manage without any chairs???

We used clipboards and lay down to write letters of apology to the chairs (apparently they were fed up of never being tucked back underneath the tables and they were cross with children for swinging on them!)

We used whiteboards and pens and used each others backs to rest on.

We even managed to find a few other places in the classroom to sit down!

We sat on the playground wall to eat our morning snack.

We had a crafty afternoon and made some Titanic models.

Hopefully the chairs will forgive us and we'll be able to use them tomorrow!
