30-Day Reading Challenge

We know how most of you love reading and we also know that some of you need a bit of encouragement to crack on.

So, we have set you a challenge that we hope will appeal to all of you, whatever you feel about books.

Can you read every day for 30 days?

Each day we will set a different challenge for you.

For example, you may have to read in some strange and unusual places.

Have you ever read fully clothed while sitting in an empty bath?

Will we be asking you to do this?? 

Who knows?

We will be starting this on Monday 25th January.

You need to check the school website daily to see what your next challenge is.

Remember, you can use sites like 

Oxford Owl, Epic and e-library if you don't have a lot of books at home.

You have been given passwords for these excellent sites but ask your teacher if you need reminding.

Ask a responsinle adult to take a photo of you as you complete each daily task.

Please email your photos to [email protected] and she will put them on the gallery pages.

Remember to say your name and which day's challenge it is for.

There will be prizes for lots of different categories.

You'll have to wait and see what they are.

We don't want to give too much away just yet.
